The difference between the 5700x and the 5800x is maybe 400mhz and a lower tdp on the 5700x. Same amount of cores, same size of cache, same overclocking abilities so if you were really determined you could make a 5700x into a janky 5800x.

For example going from ryzen 1600 to ryzen 5600 (which is an upgrade of 160€) and going from 2400 MHz to 3600 MHz ddr4 with tighter timings (also about 160€) but it fun to get some more fps more with overclocking.
